Craig Insana - Cellist
Mr. Insana started his musical career at the
age of 5 on the cello and piano and appeared as
supernumerary in many operas as a child.  
Craig received a Bachelor of Music degree in
Cello Performance from the Illinois Westleyan
University while minoring in performance of
the baroque instrument, the Viola De Gamba.

Craig studied under the direction of Mr. Alois
Trnka of the Chicago Symphony and Mr.
Robert Luke, former member of the BBC
Symphony Orchestra.  

Mr. Insana has performed with the Aliso Viejo
Symphony
, and he previously served as
principle cellist for the Saddleback Chamber
Symphonetta and the Jewish Community
Orchestra of Orange County.  He has also
played with the Bloomington-Normal
Symphony and has performed in the musical
pit orchestras of The Wizard of Oz and Guys
and Dolls.  Craig has performed with many
classical ensembles and continues to appear as
a supernumerary with the Opera Pacific.
